I really wold like to say thank you to the things that got me through exams - my playlist, French earl grey, and my things to look forward to. This playlist has basically been on repeat for the last two weeks, and I don't think its possible to listen to these songs too much. As the weather's getting colder, tea is seeming more and more welcoming, and French earl grey is the perfect pick-me-up for those lazy, uninspiring afternoons.
I'm getting excited about
Seeing The Great Gatsby tomorrow because it's a brilliant book which even 6 weeks of studying in lit couldn't make me dislike, and that is totally saying something.
My ski trip to New Zealand at the end of this term. I worked so hard over the summer holidays to pay for it, I'm stoked to be going with some pretty awesome people, and I've never been skiing before! It sounds amazing.
France - there is a possibility that I'll be accepted into an exchange program where, during the holidays at the end of the year, I go to France for six weeks. I'll get to go to school and stay with a family and just wow. I cannot comprehend nor describe to you how amazing it would be if that happened.
I'm also feeling so motivated to kick out my terrible exam-eating habits and finally get back into running. And on top of all that, I'm really just looking forward to the little things that make each day or week or moment! I hope you have a wonderful day or night, wherever you are.

You should post your playlist! I'm definitely in need of some musical assistance for my pre-exam jitters.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I want to know more about your exchange! Who are you going through? I'd love to get a taste and just go away for 6 weeks. Good luck, I hope you get in!! :)
I can do that! Good luck for your exams, I'm sure you'll do great :)
DeleteThe program is with Nacel Australia, and I got a reply from them the other day! I'm still trying to believe that it's actually going to happen...I spend four days with other students in Paris and we go to different families around France for the remainder of the 6 weeks aaah thankyou!
